FORUM PURPOSE
A Green Grounds is a grassroots organization of volunteers dedicated to enabling residents of South Los Angeles to create their own edible gardens.
This online forum is an extension of our mission – to provide a convenient means for the community to get answers to their vegetable gardening questions.
Dig-In recipients and community members are encouraged to post their gardening questions to this forum
Our LAGG Master Gardeners are volunteers and will reply on a best-effort basis. So please be patient. And in order to be able to support as many community members as possible, if your question requires extensive discussion and/or research, we may not be able to respond in a timely manner.
We are focused on the growing conditions present in the Los Angeles area.
NOTE: Another (unaffiliated) resource is the Los Angeles County Master Gardener Program: They have a Helpline available via phone (626) 586-1988 or email at mglosangeleshelpline@ucdavis.edu you can leave gardening questions.
